I have returned to Malaysia after the stay in Kerala. It was a wonderful experience esp. the boathouse stay. The driver was very cooperative. Thank you very much for organizing our tour.
Only suggestion.- The boat house was poorly lit at night. The boat people told me that the lamps had fused. The bath room was little dirty. They should keep it as clean as possible. Just use some detergent to clean. |

My husband and I visited India in Nov / Dec 2009 and had the pleasure of meeting you at Hotel UDS in Kovalam.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you what a wonderful holiday that we had in India. It is an amazing place and I think that everybody should experience India at least once in their life.
The accommodation for the most part was great. The drivers that we had in each city were perfect and made us feel very welcome. Chandru, who was our driver in Mysore was the most helpful and went out of his way for us, even though he had found out that he lost his dad and needed to take a bus back to Chennai. According to him, service to the customer always comes first.
The night before we checked out of our hotel in Chennai, The Residency Towers, 21 November 2009, we had a problem with our hotel room door. For some reason, the door would not open. The Manager on duty was very efficient in sorting out the problem and was even kind enough to give us a discount for the trouble that we had to go through. He kept us informed at all times as to what the problem was and what was being done to sort out the problem.
My husband and I were surprised to have been provided with a guide service in a few of the cities as your itinerary stipulated that there was no guide service included. This was a nice surprise and it made a difference in our understanding of the places being visited. Most times the drivers would notify us that the guide was complimentary. Sometimes they would forget and the one guide asked us to pay him. This was on 1 December 2009, our first day in Jaipur. My husband and I were a little surprised as we were of the impression that his service was complimentary. When we went back to the car, we asked our driver whether the guide was complimentary and he said yes. This does not create a good impression of the guides being used or of the company itself.
Once again, my husband and I would like to thank you for your hospitality and your company. We look forward to me. |

I have just returned home to my town of Alor Star after a 15 days tour of Tamil Nadu Temples arranged by your company.
This is my third trip organised by the "Welcome Tourrs and Travels".
My wife and I enjoyed the trip and were very happy with the ground arrangements of the hotels (except for Hotel Mamallah Heritage).
Hotels:
The rooms provided at Madurai (Hotel Star Regency), Kumbakonam (Hotel Paradise Resort), Pondycherry ( Hotel Annamalai International), Chennai (Hotel Country Inn) and Tirichy (Hotel Royal Southern)
were very good . The breakfast and services provided at the hotels were very nice and tourists will always enjoy their stay at these hotels.
As Rameswaram and Tiruvanamalai being temple towns, the Hotel Royal Park and Hotel Asherya were okay for these towns.
The hotels and services were alright for tourists staying for one day. We were happy with the arrangements.
As I had an extra day, I decided to stay spend a nignt and relax at Mahabalipuram. I was given the Hotel Mamallah Heritage for an additional amount of Rs 5000. It may be good a hotel, but my wife and I did not enjoy the stay. I was given a budget hotel room on the ground floor, Room 002 (the second room next to the front office). The room was small, an old ceiling fan making noise the whole night, the A/C was the old type (Big Box) low and close to the bed. As it was also noisy, I prefered to use the noisy fan. When I checked with the hotel reception, I was told that the other rooms were also of the same standard.
The next morning, while having breakfast( good breakfast ), I met the MD of the Hotel, Mr Sethuraman. I mentioned about the noisy fan and A/C. He said that the hotel was in the midst of upgrading the A/C's to the new type. Anyway, I did not mentioned this to you or Mr Raja when I came to your office, as I accepted Mr Sethraman's explaination.
Returning to Malaysia, I came to know from a friend who stays regularly at Mamalah Heritage, there were better rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor.
What I am trying to tell is that the "Welcome Tourrs and Travels" is a regular customer of Hotel Mamallah Heritage. Hence they should have given your guests better rooms and taken good care.
I am only giving you a feedback from the tourist point of view.
Driver:
We had a good driver, Ashok who comes from Kumbokonam. Since our tour was mostly temples around Kumbakonam, Ashok was of great help to find these smaller village temples.
I must thank Mr Segar for his kind thought to allocate the proper driver.
During the tour, I have met a lot of people fom Malaysia, coming in bus tour of 30 people.
They all have lot to complain of the hotels provided by the tour operators.
When they saw my wife and I enjoying the good hotels and transport provided by 'Welcome Torrs and Travels',
they have taken your address for future travelling.

| The hotels at all our stops were excellent. The person that made our trip was the driver (Rajendran). He was with us from Chennai to Cochin. He was very considerate and did not refuse to take us to any place we asked. He also warned us about our handbags and tactics used by pickpocketers. He is trully an asset to your company.
The only upgrade i think that must be made w.r.t. accomodation, is the river boat house at Allepey. The meals were good but the bedroom was not very cosy. |
